On a trail ride last sunday at Pine Creek, just out of Bundy, met another Standy, S3930098 CHEAP WINE, for those who knew him during his racing days at Marburg, Rocklea and Redcliffe, he is looking great, and enjoying life as a trail riding horse. I do see several others on rides around this area, must get their numbers and let you know who they are as well.

I remember Cheap Wine winning at Toowoomba. There were two seperate falls in the race and he won by a clear margin of 19m (see below). I also recall racecaller Pat O'Shea making the remark, "The others must have been on it...cheap plonk that is"- referring to the unruly behaviour of some! That remark also made the stewards report!!!
